Trove Searcher Lite — less searching, more creating. You know you own the right pose, outfit or prop. You may even remember using it before. But where is it now? As your DAZ Studio library grows, browsing folders can take time away from building your next scene. I know this problem from my own creative work. That is why I created Trove Studio — a comprehensive tool for finding, organising and reusing DAZ Studio assets. I also wanted to offer a free application for people whose everyday priority is finding their assets quickly and getting back to creating. That is how Trove Searcher Lite came about. Lite uses the same search engine as Trove Studio, designed for fast searches across extensive content libraries. It is a standalone application: you do not need full Trove Studio to use it. Lite includes:
Quick Index and Deep Scan — search files and the contents of saved scenes.
Query operators and filters — narrow results by category, figure generation, gender and pose scope.
Thumbnails and enlarged previews, search history and starred favorites.
DAZ Studio integration through the included Bridge, allowing you to add the assets you find to your scene.
The application is free, with no trial period and no limit on the number of indexed files. A small banner for useful news A small banner at the bottom of the window lets me share updates, new tools and promotions. Searching and indexing also work without an internet connection. Privacy and safety The application does not upload your assets, filenames, search queries or library information. Indexes, settings and search history stay on your computer. There is no usage telemetry or banner impression and click tracking. Downloading announcements involves ordinary HTTPS requests, so the server receives standard technical information such as your IP address and application version. I have carefully checked the distributed package for viruses. To the best of my knowledge, the application is safe to use.
